OUR MISSION
New York Fitness Alliance is composed of Fitness Center and Studio owners,
operators and industry vendors from across the state. We have joined to create a unified voice in support of the growth and success of health and fitness businesses through shared values and initiatives that positively impact the lives of our members and people in our communities. Our board is diverse and comprised of operators from big box gyms, studios, boutique, franchise and non franchise businesses.
It is our mission to unite fitness business owners from across New York State in a non-partisan organized effort that affects change, provides solutions, and contributes to the conversations impacting the vitality of our businesses, and health and wellness of New York residents.
TODAY'S PRIORITIES
The New York Fitness Alliance is working to build our coalition of fitness facilities, vendors and businesses across the state so that we can more more fully represent our industry and strengthen our voice. Financial consideration is another main focus of ours right now as we work hard to make sure our industry receives relief from federal, state and city resources.
FUTURE PRIORITIES
The New York Fitness Alliance will remain the united voice of New York’s fitness industry. Our industry is critical to the health and wellness of New York. We aim to represent the interests of large health clubs, fitness centers, boutiques, studios, fitness professionals, consultants, manufacturers and suppliers. This alliance works each year to make sure that our industry’s voice is heard at the highest levels in New York. As we continue to recover from the COVID-19 Pandemic we will continue to work to communicate with local and State government about ongoing issues including:
• Relief for our industry due to the extending shutdown period
• Advocating to the state, city and local officials on behalf of our industry
